The ERNiE imagebank comprises illustrative materials on the cultural history of nationalism and national movements.
The imagebank provides documentary enrichment of the Encyclopedia and contains:

— 8500 landmarks, comprising buildings, monuments and statues, accessible here and here;
— 530 banknotes and 3100 postage stamps, accessible here and here;
— 580 other realia (objects, photographs, posters, maps and book pages), accessible here and here

The materials are all ascertained to be in the public domain.
They have been sourced either from public-domain sources or from photographs/scans of the originals
made by members of the ERNiE research team, the Study Platform on Interlocking Nationalisms (SPIN).
